Safety consideration for at-home isolation of COVID-19 confirmed patients (EN)

Despite government guidance, home is not the best place for the isolation of patients with active COVID-19 infections. All COVID-19 patients should all be placed under medical supervision.

According to the Isolation Guidelines for COVID-19 patients, 2077 (कोभिड-१९ संक्रमितहरूको आइसोलेसन सम्बन्धी स्वास्थ्य मापदण्ड, २०७७), only those without symptoms or those with mild symptoms can be kept in home isolation.

Despite the serious risks, we are aware that in some places COVID-19 confirmed patients are forced to stay at home for self-isolation due to unavailability of isolation centers and hospital beds. The following suggestions will make home isolation safer for patients, family members, and caregivers.
